New York Comic Con was filled with cosplayers and pop culture fans this year. For the first time in almost two years, NYCC came home to the Javits Center. Cosplayers were finally able to come back to a convention floor and share their cosplays that they could wear in front of a crowd once more.

Thursday of NYCC has quite a few cosplay panels including The Business of Cosplay: Cosplay Professional Development, Cosplaying for a cause and how to start a charity group, SHEPROP! HAS YOUR BACK: Supporting women trans and non-binary cosplayers in a creative world, and Volunteer Cosplaying in your Community.

Cosplay Central also had its own space this year complete with the Paladins of Cosplay helping out with repairs for cosplayers all throughout the weekend. They were certainly the heroes of the weekend as they made sure every cosplayer there could fix their cosplay so they could shine out on the convention floor.

We will be coming out with more galleries filled with cosplayers from the weekend including the contestants of the Cosplay Central: Crown Championships of Cosplay. If you want to see more, be sure to follow us on our Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook.
