Animal Crossing and Doom have had quite an interesting relationship between both games. Starting in 2019 when Doom's director had written that he was looking forward to playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons in January 2020. Since then, many creators went to social media to make artwork, YouTube videos, and even animations of both Isabelle (one of the main characters of Animal Crossing) and Doom Guy together as friends.

While lots of cosplayers have cosplayed as Animal Crossing characters in the past, cosplayer Mads_five was one of the first to really combine both Doom and Animal Crossing together in the ultimate friendship pairing.

Mads_five, a cosplayer known for her armor work, recently posted a photo of her completed Doom armor, and decided to make it Isabelle by adding a blonde wig, a red bow, and the ears on either side. She even did her makeup to reflect the dog in the game, bringing a perfect Isabelle to life. If you've ever wondered what Isabelle would look like in a Doom game, then you here go!

Mads_five posted the photos on her Twitter, which quickly went viral. The photos have been liked over 70,000 times with more than 12,000 retweets. Many commented on how incredible the cosplay looked and how this cosplay was the perfect recreation of everyone's favorite crossover.

The entire cosplay is made out of EVA foam with hundreds of hours of work. The armor took at least 5 months to build, which was patterned completely by hand and then made with several sizes of foam including 2, 5, and 10 mm.

All in all Mads_five did a fantastic job on this cosplay and it is certainly the crossover we all needed to see. To see more of Mads_five's work, be sure to follow her on Instagram and Twitter.
