This Assassin's Creed Cosplayer Brought Eivor To Life From Valhalla
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is a few months away, but that didn't stop Amazonian cosplay from making Eivor's looks.
Ubisoft's hit franchise, Assassin's Creed, is coming out with a new addition titled Assassin's Creed: Valhalla on November 17th. While the game may not be out yet, that didn't stop Amazonian Cosplay from crafting Eivor's outfit and weapons from the game.
The costume took her just under a month to build, which is an absolutely impressive usage of time. She started the day after the game was announced, and had it finished at the end of May. At the point of her posting pictures, there hadn’t been a single officially released image of the female character, so the love and response she got from the Assassins Creed community and staff was wonderful!
The costume is made from faux leather and EVA foam mostly, with lots of small details and clasps and buckles 3d printed in resin. The 3d modelling was done by her friend Foxy Badger Cosplay in collaboration – she printed for both their Eivor costumes, and are absolutely spot on to the game costume.
Amazonian Cosplay can't decide on whether her favorite part of the costume is the hair or the shield. The hair was a wig, but she also created a partial bald cap to mimic the side shave using sfx cap plastic. The effect of this worked perfectly, and you can see it very well in photos.
The shield is her favorite prop that she's ever made. It’s 10mm thick eva foam and she spent hours carving wood texture into with a rotary tool. To get the chipped paint look, she used liquid latex. According to her, peeling that off was one of the MOST satisfying things of the entire build.
Amazonian Cosplay is really proud to have made this costume, and represent a female lead in an incredible game series. Recently the community movement hashtag #ACSisterhood has started on Twitter, with support from Ubisoft, to bring to light the incredible female characters and game developers on this series, and get them the recognition and fair treatment they deserve.
Overall, this cosplay is a fantastic build. We are still floored that it took under a month to build, and is also true to Eivor's looks in the game. Well done!
