New York Comic Con was filled with cosplayers and pop culture fans this year. For the first time in almost two years, NYCC came home to the Javits Center. Cosplayers were finally able to come back to a convention floor and share their cosplays that they could wear in front of a crowd once more.

Saturday of NYCC has quite a few cosplay panels including Over 30 Cosplay - Cosplaying into the future, Jaremi Carey's cosSLAY, Cosplaying While PLUS ULTRA!!!, Historical Costuming in Media - From Maisel to Hamilton, we're Bridgertoning the gap, and What a Drag! A Panel on drag and cosplay!.

Cosplay Central also had its own space this year complete with the Paladins of Cosplay helping out with repairs for cosplayers all throughout the weekend. They were certainly the heroes of the weekend as they made sure every cosplayer there could fix their cosplay so they could shine out on the convention floor.

The Cosplay Central Crown Championships of Cosplay, Presented by GEICO, was also hosted on Saturday night at New York Comic Con. The competition consisted of 18 competitors all competing for the northeast regional title. Cosplayer Kylander Kouture won best in show with her Outlander-inspired historical gown. You can check out all the details of the competition in one of our recent articles.

We will be coming out with more galleries filled with cosplayers from the weekend including the contestants of the Cosplay Central: Crown Championships of Cosplay. If you want to see more, be sure to follow us on our Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook.
