This year's Cosplay Central Virtual Competition consisted of 58 total contestants from around the world. Premiering on Cosplay Cental's YouTube channel, the competition was hosted by Jaremi Carey and featured judges Alyson Tabbitha, Xephyr Studios, and Bakka Cosplay.
We're excited to showcase all 58 of our amazing entries right here for you to see. To check out each cosplayer's social, be sure to click their name in the about section of their gallery image to be redirected to their social media pages. Some even have work-in-progress photos of their costumes, so please give them a visit and help spread the cosplay love!
In this competition we had cosplayers from the countries of The United States, Croatia/Serbia, The United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, Canada, Spain, Iceland, Mexico, Bulgaria, Brazil, and The Netherlands. Each contestant was given a choice to enter either the armor or needlework category, with a beginner section for new cosplayers. The judges then prejudged each contestant and chose the top competitors in each category as finalists for the competition.
The cosplays that were entered spanned a wide variety of characters from different fandoms, including comic books, movies & television, video games, anime, and fantasy. Many cosplayers chose from popular pop culture realms such as Star Wars, Critical Role, Marvel, Disney, Legend of Zelda, and many more.
Congratulations to our winners!
In the beginner category, the judges awarded US cosplayer Little Lottie as the Best Beginner Winner for her Belle from Beauty and the Beast (with inspirations from Outlander).
The Honorable Mention Award went to US cosplayer Nyvedna Productions as Princess Tiana from Princess and the Frog.
The Judges Choice Award was awarded to UK cosplayer Frogs Cosplay as her design of Loki from Marvel Comics.
The Needlework Winner went to US cosplayer Lovablespiral as Rococo Princess Peach from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
The Armor Winner was awarded to Croatia/Serbia cosplayer Bendershield as King Llane from Warcraft: The Beginning.
This year's Best-In-Show winner was US cosplayer Vanguard as a Monster Hunter from the Monster Hunter video game series. Every single part of this cosplay is functional down to the props! He's a real monster hunter for sure.
