This 6'9" Olympian Cosplayed As Lady Dimitrescu From Resident Evil Village
This former Olympian and model cosplayed as Lady Dimitrescu and it's perfect.
As the release date for Resident Evil Village creeps closer and closer, the hype for Lady Dimitrescu only continues as well. Back in February, the Resident Evil Village art director Tomonori Takano came out with a statement about Lady Dimitrescu's height and revealed she was a staggering 9'6" tall.
Many cosplayers had put together cosplays of the character after her reveal in the trailer, with some making closet cosplays and using platform boots to try and get a little taller for her height. Others used camera angles to make themselves look taller for photographs and give off the Lady Dimitrescu look. But one former Olympian-turned-model completely blew everyone away with her Lady Dimitrescu cosplay for height alone.
Ekaterina Lisina is a former Russian Olympic basketball player who now holds the Guinness World Record for the world's tallest professional model. Standing at 6 feet 9 inches without heels, she completely towers over anyone near her. It's no wonder that many of her followers on Instagram were asking her for a Lady Dimitrescu cosplay, and she certainly delivered.
Ekaterina put together a series of videos and photographs on her Instagram page showing off the look, and even recreated her scene from the trailer.
The cosplay was put together by a team of artists that Ekaterina credits in her social media posts. The dress was made by @osqurobviously, with hair and makeup being done by @beaurtbyblas. The photography and video content were all taken by @nikolayshlykov and editing was done by @timonvitov. She also credits her friends @themushroomxiii and @lugovskav for supporting her in this cosplay.
This certainly may be the closest to seeing a cosplayer with similar height to Lady Dimitrescu. While Ekaterina is not 9'6" (and let's face it, nobody is without stilts), she is definitely the model fit to cosplay as Lady Dimitrescu.
